Cie Diabolo Corps
A state-certified magician, stilt walker, balloon modeller and circus and magic teacher: Ludovic Charros has more than one string to his bow. Since 2005, his Cie Diabolo Corps has been amusing and delighting young and old alike, on stage and in the street alike.
Biography
Ludovic Charros founded Cie Diabolo Corps in 2005. Holder of a state diploma in magic and trained at the Grenoble circus school, he built a live-performance world at the crossroads of magic and circus, designed to amuse and delight children and adults alike.
A multidisciplinary artist, he is by turns a magician, stilt walker, balloon modeller, juggler and circus and magic teacher — “more than one string to his bow”, as he puts it himself. He performs as happily on stage as in the streets, where his walkabout acts and entertainments turn public space into a playground of wonder.
Alone or joined by fellow performers — clowns, stilt walkers, storytellers — Ludovic Charros also offers entertainment and introductory workshops in circus, magic and wooden games. Based in Les Avenières, in Isère, the company travels to bring fairs, festivals and events to life, with one shared promise: closeness to the audience and shared enjoyment.
