Biography
Cie Les Facteurs de Buvette was founded in 2016, following the building of a real piano-cocktail — the fabulous instrument imagined by Boris Vian in Froth on the Daydream, which turns notes into cocktails. Around it, the company invents lively musical shows where people sing, chat and raise a glass, in the spirit of old-time bistros.
Their signature show, “Notes de Comptoir”, was born of the desire to offer a suspended, warm-hearted moment. As a piano-voice duo, Mylord and Minouche perform jazz and swing standards, French chanson and their own compositions — a refreshing, intimate concert. In 2022, the creation took on a new scale with the Grand Cabaret Sing-Swing: to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the “Le Comptoir” bistro, landlady Mimine and her faithful bar regulars, Mylord and Charley, bring the counter notes back to life in a cabaret version written, composed and performed by Milo Pénault and Marina Galliot.
The company also created “Ah ! Si j'avais 4.99”, a 50-minute musical, burlesque and gustatory show designed and performed by Milo Pénault, Marina Galliot and David Chatel around the piano-cocktail. Les Facteurs de Buvette tour their shows in venues, theatres, festivals and street arts — “Notes de Comptoir” has notably been performed as a floating concert with Le PianO du Lac — with administrative support from Jaspir Prod.

Milestones
Company founded in 2016 around a piano-cocktail it built itself; “Notes de Comptoir” toured from its earliest years (53 performances recorded in the company's dossier, across festivals, bars, third places and venues), before its 2022 Sing-Swing cabaret version; “Piano Cocktail” was presented at the Grand PianO Festival in Orléans in 2025, and “Notes de Comptoir” was performed as a floating concert in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Briançon in 2026, and as a musical cabaret in the Trièves the same year.
