Flox
For over twenty years, Flox has been sowing the seeds of a genre he named himself: nu reggae, where Jamaican roots meet machine precision. His new album Thing In Itself (February 2026, Underdog Records) confirms an artist at the top of his game.
Biography
For over twenty years, Flox has been crafting a unique sound: a vibrant fusion of roots reggae, electro, dub and nu-soul. Franco-British with a richly mixed musical identity, he has become a leading figure of the French alternative scene, building a personal world where the warmth of reggae meets machine precision.
With seven studio albums and extensive touring across Europe, Flox has turned his 'nu reggae' into an instantly recognisable signature. His new album, Thing In Itself, was released in February 2026 on Underdog Records; Le Monde praised 'a successful electro reggae party', and the artist draws over 180,000 monthly Spotify listeners and more than 10 million YouTube views.
Live, Flox is a groove machine: his shows travel through festivals and venues across France and Europe, from Reggae Sun Ska to No Logo BZH, from Summer Vibration to La Maroquinerie. Generous energy, made for dancing as much as for listening.
