Biography
A Malian griot singer, Hawa Kassé Mady Diabaté is the daughter of the great Kassé Mady Diabaté, who passed away in 2018. Their duo album, “TOUMARO”, begun in Bamako in 2018 at Studio Bogolan and completed by Hawa, was released on One World Records in 2025, post-produced by Ibrahim Kaba and Carolina Vallejo: it was ranked No. 1 “Best Album of 2025” by the World Music Charts Europe and named a Songlines “Top of the World”. Hawa is also the voice of Trio Da Kali.
