The festival
The Festival Wonkhai Dubréka is taking its first steps — and Dubréka intends to make it an important event. Presented by Foniké, this first edition is set up from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 October 2026 on the esplanade of the Maison des Jeunes de Dubréka (Younger Space), with a three-part programme: training, shows and gastronomy, and evenings starting at 8 pm. On Friday 30 October, the stage welcomes Gasto Mic (standard sticker: 25,000 FG).
The poster of the edition is the colours of two important partners, FODAC Guinea and Simandou 2040. The festival received on its site a visit by the Prefect of Dubréka, accompanied by the prefectural directors of the Administration of Territory, Culture, Tourism and Crafts, and Agriculture, as well as that of Ablaye M'Baye "Skandal", ambassador of the culture of the Republic of Guinea and CEO of Meurs Libre Productions (MLP PROD).
The ambition is to make Dubréka a crossroads for cultural, tourism, agricultural and entrepreneurial development.
