Guinean artists, get ready: the Victoires de la Musique Guinéenne are coming!
Guinean artists, get ready: the Victoires de la Musique Guinéenne are coming! ELITE COM has officially opened the road to the 8th edition. And the first event is already dated: the Salon de la Musique Guinéenne, on 15 and 16 December 2026 at the Centre Culturel Franco-Guinéen in Conakry — two days of conferences, masterclasses and showcases, on the theme “AI at the service of Culture”, with free registration and access. The great night of Guinea's stars starts being prepared now.

The message is out, and it is addressed first to the artists: the Victoires de la Musique Guinéenne are coming. The most prestigious award ceremony for the stars of Guinean music opens the road to its 8th edition, driven by ELITE COM, the organising company, and its Director General Bouba Angelo. The whole Guinean music family — established artists, new revelations, producers and the craftspeople working behind the scenes — is called to get ready: Victoires season is open.
A first event already dated: the Salon de la Musique Guinéenne
The road to the 8th edition already has its first stop, and it is dated: the Salon de la Musique Guinéenne will take place on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 December 2026 at the Centre Culturel Franco-Guinéen (CCFG) in Conakry. This professional salon, held under the aegis of Guinea's Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts, will welcome experts and guests from France, Senegal, Mali, Tunisia and Côte d'Ivoire. On the menu: conferences, masterclasses, hands-on capacity-building workshops, an expo, showcases, networking and training. Registration and access are free: no artist and no professional of Guinean music has any reason to stay away.

Guinean artists, the stage is waiting for you
For artists, this salon is a launch pad: two days to be seen, to train and to connect before the big night. The showcases will put talents in the spotlight in front of industry professionals; the masterclasses and workshops will hand over concrete tools for what comes next. The edition's theme says it plainly: “AI at the service of Culture: Impact and Opportunities for Africa.” In a context of accelerated digital transformation, new opportunities are opening up for African creators — provided they start preparing now.
The night of the stars is being prepared
Created in 2019 by cultural journalist Aboubacar Mamadou Camara and organised by ELITE COM, the Victoires tell the story of a country whose music — from the Mandinka tradition to today's urban sounds — flows across West Africa and its diaspora. Their recent honours list speaks for itself: the Grand Prix went to Azaya in 2023, then to the legend Sékouba Bambino in 2024, before Djelykaba Bintou became, in 2025, the first woman to win it, taking home five trophies in a single year — a record in the ceremony's history. Which stars will shine at the 8th edition? The answer starts taking shape at the December Salon: the ceremony day will be announced by the organisers, and Festival TV will publish it as soon as it is official.
An event Festival TV will follow closely
A television channel built and powered by artificial intelligence, serving the festivals and celebrations of the world, could hardly stay away from a salon that puts AI at the service of African culture. Festival TV will follow the road to this 8th edition step by step — from the Salon de la Musique Guinéenne to the great Victoires night — and the Victoires de la Musique Guinéenne page, in Festival TV's world catalogue, already gathers every verified detail: the Salon's dates, programme, partners and official contacts.
