Élue 111, the voice of Burkina Faso to watch very closely in 2027
She writes, she composes, she performs — and the numbers are climbing: over 301,000 views for “Pag La Yiri”, stages from FESPACO to the REMA, a voice that carries Burkina Faso far beyond its borders. Her name is Élue 111, she lives in Burkina Faso, and everything points to 2027 being her year. A portrait of an emerging artist to watch very, very closely.

Remember this name: Élue 111. A Burkinabè singer and singer-songwriter — that is how she introduces herself, and her songs prove it. Since 2017, she has been carving a path unlike any other: the stages of Ouahigouya, Koudougou and Bobo-Dioulasso, her base in Burkina Faso, and a YouTube channel (@Elue111) with over 900,000 cumulative views and close to 9,000 subscribers. No shortcuts, no manufactured buzz: just work, songs, and an audience that grows video after video.
Videos that speak for her
Her biggest hit is called “Pag La Yiri”: over 301,000 views. “Nougbiinga” has passed 100,000 views, and “Femme” is beyond 31,000. Three songs, three proofs: Élue 111 does not sing to fill a catalogue, she sings to say something — about women, about faith, about people's lives. And she runs her own house: her songs are released on her own label, ELUE 111 PROD, with Samaya Production. An artist in control of her work, from the writing to the image.
A true stage artist
Everything is decided on stage, and Élue 111 is at home there. In 2023, she performed a live concert at FESPACO in Ouagadougou — “Téega wendé” — then sang acoustically at the 12 PCA evening, the awards celebrating Burkina Faso's cultural players, at Canal Olympia Ouaga 2000, and in an acoustic set at a gala dinner. The posters tell the rest of the story: the NAK in Koudougou, WAABO, FESFAC, the Festival Nazinon, and a noted appearance at the Récréâtrales in Ouagadougou. In June 2026, she was back in concert: “Femme” with her musicians, “Fermez les bouches” live. The stage has never left her — and she has no intention of leaving it.
The REMA and Focus Burkina: recognition from the professionals
The surest sign: the professionals are watching. Élue 111 took part in Focus Burkina at the REMA, the Rencontres Musicales Africaines in Ouagadougou — the gathering where the African music industry spots its talents. Festival TV was there, microphone open: her interview is part of the coverage of Focus Burkina at the REMA 2026, led by our Festival Explorer Mory Touré. In it, you discover a lucid artist who talks about her craft with the precision of someone who knows exactly where she is going.
An artist with a cause
Élue 111 does not only sing: she commits. An ambassador for Octobre rose, the breast-cancer awareness campaign, and an artistic godmother in Koudougou: when her cause and her city call, she answers. That generosity is part of the portrait — and part of what audiences give back to her, concert after concert.
2027: the year to watch
So why 2027? Because every light is green: a growing audience, landmark stages already conquered, recognition from the professionals at the REMA, and a catalogue growing song after song. Festival TV is following her very closely: her official mini-site is live on our platform, and our teams are preparing a report entirely devoted to her — on air soon.
