Slam Dunk 2027: Cobra Starship returns, 17 years on
The UK's biggest independent rock festival is loading its 2027 line-up with memories: the second wave, unveiled on 21 October, adds 18 bands — and brings Cobra Starship back for their first UK show in 17 years.
Two cities, one line-up
Slam Dunk plays twice, with exactly the same artists: Saturday 29 May 2027 at Temple Newsam Park in Leeds, then Sunday 30 May at Hatfield Park in Hatfield. An all-ages festival with gates at 11am, it is British spring's pop-punk and metalcore gathering.
The nostalgia wave
Leading the new names: Billy Talent, Joyce Manor, Superheaven and Forever The Sickest Kids — and Cobra Starship, exclusively, back on a UK stage for the first time since 2010. They join the first wave: Bowling For Soup, Simple Plan, Killswitch Engage, Beartooth, Sleeping With Sirens, The Used, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake and The Interrupters.
