Anderson Mário

Anderson Kaquepa Sassango Mário was born on 26 October 1997 in Kachiungo, Huambo province. He grew up in a gospel milieu and began singing at a very young age, before losing his father in 2007. His voice and sense of interpretation made him noticed in Angolan singing competitions.

In 2018, he won Unitel Estrelas ao Palco thanks to his imitations of Michael Jackson, who seduced the audience and the jury. He then released the album "Estreia" (2019), and then the single "Vai Dormir" (2020), produced by Teo No Beat, which became one of the most listened and shared Angolan songs of the year. His album "Príncipe da Olga" (2021), dedicated to his mother Olga, confirmed his sensitive writing, between kizomba and ghetto-zouk.

Consecrated revelation of the year to the Top Rádio Luanda 2022, he followed the lusophone collaborations: "Longe Daqui" with Rui Orlando (2025), then "Elavoko" with Calema, whose video exceeds 12 million views. In September 2026, he gathered more than 10,000 spectators for his first solo concert at the Restinga de Luanda, and joined the jury of Unitel Estrelas ao Palco, closing the loop of his career.
