Asidik
Asidik, a Gambian artist-producer, launched in 2019, filled Bijilo's GCCI Trade Fair Grounds with the launch of his first album, Sateh La Bandero, ahead of more than 10,000 spectators.
Asitik is a Gambian artist-producer who started his career in 2019, and he is building his audience step by step with Afrobeat titles broadcast on his official channel and networks, to surpass — according to figures reported by the Gambian press — the seven million tunes that have been heard on the platforms.
On 17 December 2025, he released his first album, Sateh La Bandero — "the flag of the country" in mandingue — an Afrobeat opus of 17 titles that included collaborations with Jizzle and Attack, published under the label Y.A.S.
The album was released in great pomp on 17 January 2026 at the GCCI Trade Fair Grounds in Bijilo, in front of more than 10,000 spectators, with ST Brikama Boyo, Miss Jobizz, An2 and Attack among the guests of the evening. A national tour, then international, was announced in the wake.
