Black AD, by its real name Hawa Dialo, is a Malian singer born in 2003 and based in Bamako. Inspired by Oumou Sangaré and Nomcebo Zikode, she develops a style that mixes traditional Malian, Afropop and R&B influences, with texts dedicated to youth, social cohesion and living together.

In 2021, she published her first EP, Idjidja: Volume 1, where she sang the beauty of Mali and called for respect for traditions and national unity. In November 2022, she won the RFI Discovery Prize thanks to the song "Mali", before a jury chaired by Yemi Alade, and published the same year Idjidja: Volume 2.

It also values local products, including Malian cotton, through a dress style that combines modernity and tradition. Its official YouTube channel, verified by the TV series, hosts the continuation of the series, Idjidja III, with clips such as "Tunka" and "Chouya", in duo with Fatumata Diawara.
