BLOND:ISH is the stage name of Vivie-Ann Bakos, a Canadian producer and environmental activist from Montreal, according to his official website.
The project began in Montreal in 2007-2008: promotion and DJing of "Blond:ish" evenings at Cherry Nightclub, first in a duo with Anstascia D'Elene Corniere, before moving to London in 2010.
In 2012, BLOND:ISH published the EP Lonely Days on Noir Music, and then signed on the German label Kompakt.
His first album Welcome to the Present was released by Kompakt in 2015.
In 2018, she launched Bye Bye Plastic, an initiative to eliminate single-use plastic from festivals and music venues.
A leading resident in Pacha Ibiza in 2025-2026 with her concept Abracadabra, of which she is the creator, and founder of the label Abracadabra Music; album Never Walk Alone released in 2025 (a title that was released in single in 2024 by Insomniac Records).
