BNXN
Formerly Buju, BNXN — pronounced "Benson" — is the soul voice of the afrofusion, a favourite collaborator of the greatest Nigerian stars.
BNXN, by its real name Daniel Benson, was born on May 14, 1997 in Lagos. He studied at Babcock University and began music in 2018, first known as Buju. His titles "Spiritual" and "Lenu", including remixing with Burna Boy, attracted the attention of the public and professionals.
He became the most sought after collaborator of his generation: "Feeling" with Ladipoe, "Mood" with Wizkid, "Cold Outside" with Timaya and especially "Fineness" with Pheelz (2022), a world anthem worn by the chorus "Folake for the night". He won the Next Rated Award at the Headies 2022.
He became BNXN and published the EP "Bad Since '97", and his first album "Sincerely, Benson" (2023). "CAPTAIN" (2025), the number one in Nigeria, dedicated him as one of the architects of modern afrofusion, with more than 4 billion listening cumulated in career.
