Biographie
D Voice is a monkeyi singer — the fast-paced genre born in the districts of Dar es Salaam — first noticed in the underground scene with titles such as "Kuachana Shingapi", which highlight his melodious song on monkeyi rhythms. On 16 November 2023, Diamond Platnumz officially presented it as the new signature of WCB Wasafi at a ceremony at the Superdome Arena in Dar es Salaam, making him the Monkeylian rookie of the label. He published his first album *Swahili Kid* (10 tracks, © WCB Wasafi), with Zuchu, Mbosso, Lava Lava and Diamond Platnumz, including "Mpeni Taarifa" with Mbosso.
Rayvanny, a former WCB, publicly salutes his work and advises him to persevere, in an interview reported by Pulse in July 2024. In 2025-2026, he followed the official collaborations of the label, including "Banana" with Jay Melody (official WCB Wasafi clip) and titles with Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz.
