Biographie

Bintou Kouyaté, known as Djelykaba Bintou, was born in Fria in a family of griots — daughter of the famous griot Djelykaba Kouyaté. Revealed solo in 2017, she rallied AFRIMA 2021 (African Revelation, Best Female Artist of West Africa), then five trophies at the Victories of Guinean Music 2025, including the Grand Prix — a first for a woman. In September 2026, she published "Renaissance", an artist's album at the top; on November 7, 2026, her concert "Audace" at the Zenith in Paris was a complete poster.

Nicknamed "La Patronne" (the Patronne), it is known as the 2021 emblem, and is carried by an organized fan community, the Patronat, the Best Community at the Showbiz Awards in Benin in March 2026, where it was also named the most influential artist in French-speaking Africa.
