Feli Nandi
A bright voice from Zimbabwean African Soul, Feli Nandi has moved from a chorister to a leading poster who can fill Harare's HICC solo.
Felistus Winnie Chipendo, known as Feli Nandi, was born and grew up in Zimbabwe. For two years, she was a singer of the Mhodzi Tribe band, led by artist Mbeu, where she learned the stage profession before starting solo in 2020 with "Mufudzi WeMombe", in a duo with Trevor Dongo.
Her albums Feli Nandi (2021) and Izwi (2022) reveal an elegant Afro-soul, rooted in the Shona traditions and open to contemporary sounds. In 2023, Ndoona Iwe won Best Female Artist and Best Alternative Artist Awards at Zimbabwe Music Awards.
In 2021, she launched her own brand, Feli Nandi Apparel. In 2024, she was named an outstanding musician of the year at NAMA, and in August 2026, her one-woman show "A Night With Feli Nandi" was a complete poster at the Harare International Conference Centre.
