Kayawoto is a Burkina Faso rapper of Ivorian origin, who has become one of the major voices of rap in Burkina Faso. His name is a tribute to his grandfather, a source of inspiration and advice. He raps in Mooré, the country's national language, and claims rap rooted in the cultures of Faso.

His first album, Maouland, appeared in 2021 at Propulsion Prod and pushed him on the front of the stage: he won the Kundé de la révelation 2021 and the prize of the 12 cultural personalities of the year (12 PCA), music category. His universe, the "Maouland", federated a community of faithful fans.

He confirmed with Maouland II in 2023, then Conquerors in 2024. His clips, directed by San Remy and published on his official channel, highlight the country's languages and ethnicities, such as "Burkinabe", which invited rappers from various ethnic groups in Burkina Faso.

Engaged, he took part in the caravan "Our Voices for Peace" of Alif Naaba, which crosses eight cities in the country. In April 2025, he won the Kundé prize for the best Burkinabè featuring for "Commando" with Privat, and was one of the finalists of the Kundé d'Or.

In November 2025, his golden Sodaga for a song of tribute to the defence and security forces confirmed his place as a popular artist and close to his audience, between rap, tradition and national pride.
