Lil Saako
"Zapata" — the urban star of Colèah — Singer · composer · dancer and choreographer — Guinean urban music
Biographie
Mouctar Diop, alias Lil Saako, was born and grew up in Colèah, a popular district of Conakry. A prodigy dancer, he was a founding member of Instinct Killers — the crew pioneer of hip-hop dance in Guinea — before becoming one of the leading vocals, in duet with Fish Killa. In 2022, the band launched its two solo stars: its single "Zapata" became a national anthem, and its first solo album, "N'Khonyi Dakhi" (Universal Music Africa), was presented on 25 December 2022 at Petit Sory Stadium in Nongo — about 30,000 spectators, according to his press book.
A complete artist — singing, composition, dance, choreography — he created in 2022 the Lil Saako Foundation for Social Action, which notably renovated the Maison des jeunes de Colèah and the Coleah Festival, of which he is the director. In 2026 he launched his World Tour and gave two concerts at the French-Guinean Cultural Centre in Conakry, on 17 and 18 July.
