Liou Ting
GOGO GIRL — the Haitian-Canadian singer who dresses Haitian roots with electro: "Racine Tech" — Author-songwriter-interpreter — Afro-house / world fusion ("Racine Tech") ; editorial modeling
Biographie
Liou Ting is a Montreal-based Haitian-Canadian author, composer and performer. Her universe — the "Lioutiverse" — merges Haitian root rhythms and modern textures, including electronics: a concept she calls "Racine Tech" and which she summarizes with her signature, "Havian roots. Electronic future." On stage, she embodies the persona "GOGO GIRL": a singer-dancer energy that the audience reprises in chorus — at the evening of thanking the Festival Haiti in Folie, the room sang her title "Sweet Melody" and scanned "GOGO GIRL".
In 2026, she followed Montreal scenes: Kouzen Zaka in Laval, Guinea Vibes By Night, the Montreal DJ Festival, Afro Culture 2 and the SDE Foundation's appointments, and she animated the Cigar Pool Party 2.0. Her visual identity is inseparable from her music — "Music up-dated in high fashion": an editorial series noticed in May 2026, photographed by Shot by Elijah, a parade at the Salon de la Femme de Montréal and outfits signed on the galas carpets.
