Magic System is an Ivorian group formed in 1996 in Abidjan, in the Anumabo district, around A'salfo (Salife Traoré), Manadja, Tino and Goudé.

Their sound draws on the zuglou, a rhythm born on Abidjan campuses, which they tint with atropop and dance music.

After a difficult start, the success of "1st Gaou" (2000), re-launched in 2002 by a remix by Bob Sinclar, propel them to France and then to the world.

In 2014, Magic in the Air became a planetary song: in 2018, the song was played at every goal of the French team during the World Cup won by Les Bleus, and its clip exceeded 560 million views.

In 2008 A'salfo created FEMUA, the Anoumabo Urban Music Festival, which became one of the largest musical events in West Africa; in 2023, the band signed "Akwaba", the official anthem of CAN organized in Côte d'Ivoire.
