Rophnan

Rophnan's positive and verified news: concerts, outputs, distinctions and projects — the Festival TV editorial records only confirmed information, in a spirit of celebration.

2026 — "YELOMI" with Harmonize, from Addis Ababa to Dar es Salaam. Rophnan joins Tanzanian Harmonize on "YELOMI", an electro and bongo flava meeting published in an official video on its TV channel VEVO (Paradigm Music). A collaboration that perfectly illustrates its ambition: to connect the Ethiopian electronic scene to the whole continent.

2024 — The album "Zetegn IX". On 11 February 2024, Rophnan released "Zetegn IX", a new album from his series of Roman numerals that built his legend. His single "Shegiye" became a TikTok phenomenon, danced far beyond Ethiopian borders.

2022 — Signed at Universal Music Africa. In 2022, Rophnan joined Universal Music Africa and published "Sidist VI", a major milestone for an Ethiopian electronic artist. The world label focuses on the one who invented ethnotronica, a fusion of Ethiopian traditional music and electronic sounds.
