Biographie
Michael Adebayo Olayinka, says Ruger, grew up in Lagos singing at the choir and in his school band. Signed by Jonzing World in January 2021, he exploded with "Bounce", from his first EP Pandemic. His dancehall tinted with afrobeats, his eye-cache and his stubborn choruses made him one of Nigeria's new stars. In 2024, he founded his label, Blown Boy Entertainment, and continued his independent journey, from Lagos scenes to the Indigo at The O2 in London.
