Sfax's golden voice, Saber Rebaï has made "Sidi Mansour" a popular anthem throughout the Arab world.
Saber Rebaï (born 13 March 1967 in Sfax) is a Tunisian singer, composer and musician who has been trained in violin and oud. He was identified in a young talent competition in 1985 and performed at the International Carthage Festival very early in the year and studied musicology before travelling through Lebanon, Egypt and Europe.
His album "Sidi Mansour" (2000), which was carried by Tunisian folk song of the same name, is devoted to him throughout the Arab world. "Khalas Tarek" (2001), "Share' El Gharam" (2003) and "Atahadda Al Aalam" (2004), whose bilingual version of the Arabic-French version is expanding further.
Signed at Rotana since 2004, he has been playing albums and concerts — from the Olympia in Paris to the Carthage and Cairo scenes — and sharing his experience as a coach in shows like The Voice Ahla Sawt. Commander of the Tunisian Order of Merit (2006), he continues an active career, between recent singles and major summer tours.
