Sabrina
Revealed by Afrobit Productions, the Yaoundéenne Sabrina won the audience with "Abele" alongside Koffi Olomide, followed by the EP "Unstoppable" and the album "Freely".
Sabrina, by her real name Wamba Kuegou Sabrina Ruth, was born on November 6, 2001 in Yaoundé. She spent part of her childhood with her grandparents in the western region and sang in the church choir in Bafoussam, before being spotted during a casting in Yaoundé by the label Afrobit Productions, with which she signed in 2019-2020.
Her first album, "Love Agenda", appeared on November 16, 2021, marked by the success of "Abele", in duet with the legend Koffi Olomide. With "Five Star", shared with Martin's, she reached third place in the Top 50 Spotify in Luxembourg, and in February 2023 she was the only Cameroonian artist invited to the Soundcity MVP Awards in Lagos.
Her EP "Unstoppable" (7 June 2025) confirmed her ascent: named at Trace Awards 2025 in the Best Newcomer category — the only woman in her category — she performed there on stage in Zanzibar on 26 February 2025. Her second album, "Freely", followed in 2025 with the singles "Alone", "Faraway", "Agility", "Saint Tropez" and "My Africa".
