Biographie
Raised in the tradition of Faranah griots, Sayon Camara — "Taramakhè", the one who set fire to the city — has been dancing and singing Guinea since "Dinguiraye" (1998). In 2002, UNESCO named her Artist for Peace, a first for an African woman: she made it a lever of awareness (schooling girls, female circumcision, poverty) and founded a school in Conakry.
