Biographie
The eldest son of Sory Kandia Kouyaté, Sekouba Kandia Kouyaté perpetuates the art of kora inherited from her father, whose instrument was bequeathed by Sékou Touré to the Guinean government. His music, meditative and ritual, gives us to hear in his clip "Duba (Blessing)" — the blessing of a mother to her daughter — the sacred dimension of the griot repertoire.
