Seyi Vibez, by his real name Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, was born on 12 July 2000 in Ketu, Lagos. He grew up between Ketu and Ikorodu, recording his first song at 14 years old, encouraged by his mother to continue the music while finishing her education.

After his independent debut, he was revealed to the general public with the album Billion Dollar Baby (2022) and the single "Chance (Na Ham)", which began in 19th place at the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart and reached 7th place at TurnTable Top 100. He won the Best Street-Hop Artist Award at the Headies 2023.

A prolific artist, he has been working on projects — "Thy Kingdom Come", "Vibe Till Thy Kingdom Come", "Children of Africa" (EP) — and collaborations with Burna Boy, BNXN or Simi. His single "Pressure" (2025), entirely in English, marks a new stage for the international public.
