Biographie
Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., born on October 17, 1984 in Accra, first became known as Bandana with the title Moko Hoo (2004). Re-introduced in 2013 as Shatta Wale, he became Ghanaian "king of the dancehall" with Dancehall King and the Artist of the Year Award at VGMA 2014. In 2019, Beyoncé invited him to Already from The Lion King: The Gift. He directed his label Shatta Movement Records and the fanbase Shatta Movement.
