Stormy
A rapper of Rabat, which became one of the major voices of Moroccan rap, Stormy has been following the success albums — Iceberg, Omega, Desperado — and collaborations with the greatest names in the Maghreb scene.
Stormy, by his real name Yasser El Malih, was born on 14 February 1997 in Rabat, in a family of musicians. He was first noticed in the new wave of Moroccan rap, before winning solo with federative titles such as "Jackpot", in collaboration with Tagne (2021).
In 2024, his solo album Iceberg was launched worldwide: 6th in the Spotify Global Debut Album ranking and over 10 million tuners in 15 days. The "Popo" clip, shot in Rio de Janeiro, exceeded 45 million views, and Stormy also lent his voice to the Inwi jingle alongside Ashraf Hakimi.
The EP Omega, released in January 2025, is the best EP at the DimaTOP Awards 2025. In May 2026, he released the album Desperado and performed in Brussels, notably at the Botanical, confirming his status as Moroccan rap ambassador.
