Tidiane Mario
The creator of the "fro-pagail", Tidiane Mario is the rising star of Brazzaville: three nights in a row at the Félix-Éboué stadium in 2025, and then a complete Bataclan in Paris.
Tidiane Mario is a Congolese singer from Brazzaville, a figure in the new urban wave of Congo. He creates a style of his own, the "afro-pagail", which mixes Afro-dance, modern ndombolo and festive energy, and conquers an ever-wider audience throughout the Congo basin.
Named at Trace Awards 2025, he took a lead with his album "Lummage", sixteen tracks which he defended in October 2025 at three consecutive concerts, from October 3 to 5, at the Félix-Éboué stadium in Brazzaville — a rare feat for an artist of his generation.
On 8 November 2025, he filled the Bataclan in Paris, with closed windows. In 2026, he continued with new singles, including "Kudile 2.0" and "Keba", in collaboration with Zakalara.
