TIF
Algerian rapper based in Paris, TIF mixes French and Arabic in a melodic and poetic rap that conquered the largest French theatres, from Olympia to Zenith.
TIF, by its real name Toufik Bouhraoua, grew up in Algiers. In 2019, it revealed itself with the song "3iniya", shot in the streets of Algiers, which opened the doors to the Algerian public as well as the diaspora. In 2021, he founded with Adil and Younès Boucif the independent label HSH (Houma Sweet Houma).
His first album, Houma Sweet Houma (2022), was followed in March 2023 by 1.6, with the titles "Hinata", "Amnesia" and "Shadow Boxing". Success was at the rendezvous: Zenith de Paris in May 2024, two Olympia on 26 and 27 September 2024, and the Flame of the Scenery Revelation of the Year 2024.
Based in Paris, TIF is running the festivals — Dougga Festival in Tunisia, Oslo World in Norway, Jazzablanca in Morocco, Europavox in 2025 — and is one of the most singular voices of French rap between Algiers and Paris.
