Biographie

Born on 12 March 1981 in Niafunké, Vieux Farka Touré is a Malian guitarist and singer, son of the legendary Ali Farka Touré. He extends the legacy of the blues of the Niger River with a virtuoso guitar open to the encounters. In 2022, he published the "Les Racines" (retour to acoustic sources) and Ali, a duo album with the group Khruangbin dedicated to his father's repertoire.
