Yaw Tog is a Ghanaian rapper from Santasi, Kumasi, capital of the Ashanti region. He emerges at the heart of the Asakaa movement — the Ghanaian dipping of the drill, sung in Twi — which makes Kumasi's youth vibrate in the late 2010s.

In September 2020, his title "Sore", with O'Kenneth, City Boy, Reggie and Jay Bahd, became the movement's manifesto. In March 2021, the remix of Stormzy and Kwesi Arthur exceeded one million views in three days, a record for a Ghanaian artist, and his first EP, Time, appeared on March 25, 2021. "Sore" won the award for the best hip-hop song at the VGMA 2021.

At the head of his Tog Life Music label, he released Young & Matured (2024), then EP Tog City (2025), with Stonebwoy and Darkovibes. In October 2026, the single "AKATAPIANO" merged asakaa and South African amapiano.
