Rencontre

Around Kindia, mango trees are a landscape of orchards: this is where a large part of the mangoes consumed in Conakry grow. During the harvest, the planters open their orchards to visitors and tell about the work of the year, from flowering to gathering. The visit makes sense in the spring, when the Mango Festival celebrates this terroir. The history of Guinean mango, told by those who cultivate it.
