AfrikaBurn

The festival

In the heart of the Karoo Tankwa Desert, AfrikaBurn is born every year Tankwa Town, a short-lived city entirely created by its participants. Burning Man's official regional event, born in 2007, the gathering is a celebration of monumental art, costumes, thematic camps, music and mutant vehicles, in a culture of gift and volunteerism. It is not a sighter: everyone brings a work, a gesture, a knowledge, according to the eleventh home principle, "Each One Teach One".

Then the great works burst, and the desert regains its silence, without trace.
