The festival

The caber flies away, the bagpipes resonate: Antigonish has played the Highland Games since 1863. Since 1863, the oldest Highland Games continuously outside Scotland: caber, stone throwers, bagpipes, highland dance, military tattoo and ceilidhs in the Scottish capital of Nova Scotia.
