The festival

L-Asama International Photo Festival (PHOTO MIYOTA) is a art photography festival at the foot of Mount Asama, Nagano Prefecture. It exhibits Japanese and international photographers inside and outside, around its main location, the Miyota MMoP, and offers events and workshops all summer. The theme 2026 was "After the Image" — after the image.
