The festival
In Saint-Simeon, between the St. Lawrence River and the Charlevoix-Est mountains, Au Coeur des Arts has been beating the heart of the village every summer since 2002. Born in open air along Belley Street, under a large capital and installed since 2024 in Place Modesto-Zadra, this "public art market" brings together artists and artisans who create, exhibit and sell their works in front of the river.
Its 24th edition was held from July 17 to 19, 2026, before giving way to its symposium: Le Créatif, a village of artists, ten days of painting and sculpture in kiosks-workshops, from July 24 to August 2, 2026.
Good to know
Each year, a professional guest artist creates a collective work live with the students of the Marie-Victorin school. Poster 2026 announced dinner and mechoui on the beach for the 17–19 July phase; the artists of the Creative are hosted on camping (call for official applications).
