The festival
Awakenings is THE world brand of techno. Born in 1997 with the legendary nights of Amsterdam Gashouder, she launched her summer festival in 2001 in the Spaarnwoude recreational park, between Amsterdam and Haarlem: a green setting that has become, three days a year, the planetary cathedral of techno.
Several monumental scenes — large open-air arenas and capitals — a production and a sound set to the millimetre, and the greatest names of the same kind: the 2026 edition, from July 10 to 12, included Charlotte de Witte, Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz and Richie Hawtin. Awakenings also had other appointments at the same place, such as Upclose in the spring.
The public, connoisseur and come from all over the world, makes the reputation of the place: here, we come for music, just music. The official aftermovies of the editions 2024 and 2022, published by the Awakenings channel, are integrated below in direct reading.
