The festival
AXEAN Festival is the South-East Asia Showcase Platform: a festival-conference launched in 2020 by a collective of music professionals from across the region, to make South-East Asian artists travel to the world stage — the first of its kind on an intra-regional scale.
After two virtual editions (2020-2021), AXEAN has been in attendance since 2022, in Singapore and then in Bali. Its 7th edition, on 29 and 30 August 2026 at the Jimbaran Hub, gathered more than 40 artists on 3 scenes, in front of delegates from festivals and industry from dozens of countries, with conferences, business meetings and a song writing camp. Since its creation, the platform has presented nearly 300 artists from more than 20 countries.
In the margins of the 2026 edition, the American radio station KEXP placed its cameras at the Jimbaran Loca Sea House for its series "Live on KEXP in Bali": full performances filmed on 27 August 2026 — Numeron and The Panturas (Indonesia), TONTRAKUL (Thailand) — to be found in our media library.
