The festival

"Bula!" — Fijian greetings become a festive slogan. The Bula Festival animates Nadi, Fiji's tourist gateway to the island of Viti Levu, during a week of cultural celebrations, fundraising and community life: its 66th edition was held from July 18-25, 2026 at King Charles Park, under the theme "The true bula spirit: compassion and care for the community".

Parades, Miss Bula contests and neighbourhood entertainment serve as a cause: the festival launched its campaign "Bula House", a community and evacuation centre for the inhabitants — the party as a social cement.
