The festival

Founded in 2001 by novelist Colin Channer, poet Kwame Dawes and producer Justine Henzell, the Calabash International Literary Festival is a three-day festival of reading and music in Treasure Beach, on the south coast of Jamaica. After ten annual editions and a biennial rhythm, it now takes place in odd years, and all its activities are free and open to the public. The official website already displays a visual "Calabash 2027".

Your images are worth Festivos

You are in a festival, a concert, a village party, a traditional party, a private party — even two or three, on a boat or on a plane? Send us your images: Festival TV analyses them, and if they are broadcast, they are broadcast with your name on credit. All the world parties interest us: we want to see how different communities celebrate life and show their joy.
