The festival

Cape Town Carnival is a yearly event on the Fan Walk of Green Point, Cape Town, Human Rights Day. The 2026 edition, held on March 21 on the theme "Follow your heART", brought together tanks, costumes, dance and live music. The Carnival has been celebrating Cape Town culture and communities for 16 years.
