The festival

Ottawa is vibrating the sound of the underground when Capital Punishment storms the By Market for four nights of heavy music. Presented by Chord Productions, the festival is airing its programming in four iconic downtown venues, from Rainbow Bistro to Dominion Tavern. Metal, punk, hardcore, rock and extreme rap are featured in a pan-Canadian poster that combines headlines and local re-emergence.

For its largest edition to date, the event transforms a whole neighbourhood into a circuit of concerts on foot. A brutal and unifying celebration of the Canadian independent scene, in the heart of the capital.
