The festival
Las Tablas Carnival in Los Santos Province, carried by the rivalry of the two Tunas, Calle Arriba and Calle Abajo, between culecos, parades and murgas. Its highlight is the topón, at Parque Porras, in the early hours of Ash Wednesday. Tradition goes back more than two centuries.
