A festival co-built by a whole village, workshop after workshop · Village Heart of Deschambault, Deschambault-Grondines, Portneuf, Quebec, Canada
The festival
Cœur Forain is a community co-construction initiative of a fun and cultural festival that makes the hearts of villages in the west of Portneuf vibrate. For months, a citizen steering committee and workshops with youth and community — writing, illustration, decors, puppets, games — prepare a Big Holiday that gathers the result of all this work.
After Grondines (year 1), the second cycle came to life in the village heart of Deschambault, from September 2025 to May 2026, with its Grand Fête from 29 to 31 May 2026.
