The festival
The Dakar Fashion Week is the major event in African fashion, in Dakar, Senegal's capital. It was founded by Adama Paris (Adama Ndiaye).
Its 23rd edition was held in December 2025, marked by a parade of models on canoes off Ngor. The dates of the 2026 edition have not yet been announced.
