The festival
Only one night in winter, the forest of the Centre de plein air Dansereau, in Pont-Rouge, lights up: Dansereau en lumière offers a forest course of about 2 km, composed of 10 paintings with light installations, in a fairy tale where nature, mystery and enchantment meet.
Presented as the dean of the bright forest routes of the Portneuf region, the free event marked the beginning of the school break and attracted more than 1,000 visitors to its 2025 edition — its record 1,615 visitors, date 2023.
Good to know
7th edition: Friday, February 27, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Dansereau Outdoor Centre. 2 km course with a short loop of about 1 km; tale 2026: "Lila, the little flame and the moon". Free access, without reservation; shuttle offered with the Portneuf Regional Transportation Corporation (departures in front of the church and Saint-Louis Place). Event carried by the City of Pont-Rouge ( Pont-Rouge events) and its volunteers, with Desjardins (Caisse du Centre de Portneuf), Les Équipements Acmat, the Pont-Rouge Sports and Recreation Commission (Bingo) and the Dansereau Outdoor Centre.
