The festival
In Dawson City, the city of the Klondike Gold Rush, the Dawson City Music Festival has been vibrating the historic centre every July since 1979: the oldest Yukon music festival, which the press has called "Canada's perfect little festival." His scenes — from Minto Park to the Palace Grand Theatre in 1899, from St. Paul's Church to the Dänojà Zho Cultural Centre — welcome artists from across the country, on Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in territory. His 48th edition was held from July 17 to 19, 2026. The 49th edition is already announced: July 16 to 18, 2027.
