Dekmantel Festival
Dekmantel Festival · Amsterdam, Pays-Bas
The festival
Dekmantel Festival is Amsterdam's most adventurous electronic music event: born in 2013 in the Amsterdamse Bos forest, at the gates of the Dutch capital, the Dekmantel collective festival (label, promoter and programmer) has become the European reference point for home, techno and experimental electro enthusiasts.
The festival cultivates the spirit of discovery: human-sized scenes planted in trees, a program of researchers — often in partnership with Boiler Room, Resident Advisor or Crack Magazine — and long dance days. Its 12th edition was held from July 29 to August 2, 2026, extended to places in the city such as the Melkweg and the Paradiso; the next will take place from July 28 to August 1, 2027.
Boiler Room, a historic partner of the festival, filmed legendary sets: The Black Madonna's b2b and Mike Servito, Shanti Celeste in 2017, Palms Trax in 2022 — full-length recordings to be found in our media library.
